Our Mission...
It is the mission of the participating hospices to provide quality care for adults and children with life threatening illnesses. That care extends to their families both during the patient's final months and beyond. Whether this care is given in one's home, a nursing home, or hospital, our hospices provide the patient and the family physical, emotional, social, and spiritual support.
Our Goal...
The goal of the hospice regatta is to raise money for our participating, not for profit, hospices, and to raise public awareness. We believe that the last months, weeks, and days of life should be as meaningful and filled with as much love and caring as possible. To this end, we are committed to help ensure that hospice care is available to all who seek it, regardless of ability to pay.

Let's Race...
Hosted by the Hampton Yacht Club, more than 40 sailboats will compete on a closed course in the Hampton Roads harbor. The race is open to sailors in spinnaker and non-spinnaker classes and includes a Hospice class for sailors who do not normally race but want to show their support for Hospice care in Hampton Roads.
